Year 6

In Year 6  we focus on establishing independence and resilience towards learning, preparing the children for the transition to high school. We have lots of fantastic topics, such as, Manchester, Charles Darwin and his Theory of Evolution, WWII and Plastic Pollution!

Throughout the year we offer several exciting trips such as a trip into Manchester city centre, the long awaited residential trip to Robinwood and we welcome visitors to school such as a local Holocaust survivors!

We work hard to prepare ourselves for the SATs at the end of the year and learn how to keep our minds and bodies healthy through P.E. and Forest Schools.
